Friends in Deed has 3 meeting rooms available at no cost for not-for-profit organizations to use for meetings and/or presentations held during our hours of operation Monday-Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Two large rooms and one smaller room are available, along with electronic audio/visual equipment if arranged prior to the meeting. The kitchen at Friends in Deed may also be reserved for use in conjunction with group gatherings.
A contract for use of the room must be signed by the group’s contact person. Since Friends in Deed is an “all-volunteer” organization, we do not have either a set-up or clean-up crew available. Therefore, electronic audio visual equipment must be set up and operated by a member of the meeting group and, should changes be made to the arrangement of chairs/tables in the room, groups are asked to ensure the room is returned to its original status/configuration, and all remaining materials removed at the conclusion of the gathering.
Our meeting rooms are currently used by over 60 different community groups including the American Red Cross for scheduled blood drives, the Green Valley Woodcarvers, Parkinson’s support groups, homeowners association meetings, sewing and quilting groups to name just a few.
For more information or to inquire about reserving one of our rooms, call the Friends in Deed Meeting Room Coordinator at 625-1150 ext. 102.
